Silvana Battaglia
Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer
Silvana Battaglia is Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for Cencora, Inc. Silvana leads all aspects of Cencora’s human capital agenda across more than 50 countries, including talent acquisition and management, total rewards, organizational development, and the office of diversity, equity, and inclusion. She is responsible for strategies that build a high-performance, inclusive global culture, driving organizational effectiveness, and enhancing the employee experience for more than 46,000 team members world-wide.
Prior to joining Cencora (formerly AmerisourceBergen) in 2019, Silvana served in senior human resources leadership roles at Aramark where she was responsible for shaping the human capital strategy for their global workforce of over 250,000 employees in areas of succession planning, executive compensation, labor relations, and transformational change programs. Previously, she held senior leadership roles at both Day & Zimmermann and Merck.
Silvana serves as Executive Sponsor of the ABility Enterprise Resource Group, a group dedicated to elevating global voices, bringing global enterprise-wide acceptance, and becoming a global resource for team members and their families with all disability types.
In addition, Silvana currently serves as an independent member of the board of directors for agilon health (NYSE: AGL). She formerly served on the board of directors as an executive committee member for The Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, The Center for Autism and held the position of advisory board member for Saint Joseph’s University Haub School of Business where she also served as an adjunct faculty member. Silvana is certified by the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD).
Silvana graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor of Arts in marketing and received her Master of Science in human resources from Widener University.
