Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer
Silvana Battaglia is Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for AmerisourceBergen Corporation. Ms. Battaglia brings more than two decades of experience running both domestic and international human resources organizations, shaping high-performance cultures and driving organizational effectiveness within the pharmaceutical and business services sectors. Prior to being named to her current role in January 2019, Ms. Battaglia was Senior Vice President of Global Compensation, Benefits and Labor Relations at Aramark, where she led the Total Rewards strategy, design and development of HR policies and processes and the company’s labor strategy. At Aramark, she also served as Senior Vice President, Global Field Human Resources and had direct responsibility for the delivery and deployment of strategic HR practices for more than 270,000 associates worldwide located across 22 countries. Prior to these roles, Ms. Battaglia held executive human resources leadership roles at both Day & Zimmerman and Merck, and gained early HR experience at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals and Colorcon, a Division of Berwind Pharmaceuticals. She has also served as an adjunct faculty member at St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia.

Ms. Battaglia graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing and received her Masters of Science in Human Resources from Widener University.
