Alvana Maliqi, PharmD, MBA, is Associate Director of Value and Access Strategy at Cencora, part of the Commercialization Strategy and Access Solutions division. She is a licensed pharmacist with specialized post-doctoral residency training in Managed Care Pharmacy and an MBA degree enabling a well-rounded clinical and business perspective.

Leveraging her former payer role experience as the foundation, she helps life science companies effectively develop market access strategies and tactics to communicate value of their products to payers (health plans, PBMs, health systems). Her passion for the field of pharmacy coupled with her multi-faceted background in clinical expertise, business acumen, payer side experience and market access strategy provide for a unique perspective on managed care issues.

Prior to joining Cencora, Alvana held positions at eMAX Health Systems as a Director in Market Access, Entrée Health as a Vice President in Payer Strategy, Havas Gemini as a Senior Pharmaceutical Copywriter in Managed Markets, and WellCare as a Manager in Clinical Pharmacy Operations.
