PGY1 Pharmacy & PGY2 Corporate Pharmacy Administration and Leadership with Masters
 

Cencora has partnered with four, ASHP accredited PGY1 programs to offer a combined, two-year residency program, strategically designed to prepare residents for success as a future pharmacy leader in corporate pharmacy, specializing in pharmacy supply chain management. Residents will acquire in-depth knowledge and engage in essential supply chain activities pivotal to pharmacy practice. These activities include pharmacy supply chain principles, understanding the stakeholder ecosystem, wholesaler distribution and economics, health system leadership, drug shortage strategies, inventory management, 340B contracting, and medication cost management strategies. 

Health System Pharmacy Residency Supply Chain Forum

Cencora’s Pharmacy Supply Chain Residency Forum provides pharmacy residents with the opportunity to broaden their understanding of the pharmacy supply chain and wholesale distribution as integral components of patient care services. Residents from partner health systems across the US participate in the longitudinal experience through a combination of virtual and in-person programs. 

Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience

Cencora’s dedication to pharmacy student training is evidenced by the continued partnership with select universities. Each year, a cohort of pharmacy students gain unique training in wholesale drug distribution and supply chain management by completing an Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience that culminates with in person programming at Cencora Headquarters.
