Strategies for creating a financially sustainable health system outpatient pharmacy ecosystem
Lisa Scholz, Vice President of 340B Enterprise Strategy, will be moderating.
Pharmacy has historically been viewed as a cost center for health systems, but that viewpoint has changed within the last decade. Outpatient pharmacy services can help drive mission-sustaining revenue back into their organizations, but there is ongoing pressure and need to transform those programs or risk significant financial erosion. Through a panel of pharmacy leaders and experts, this continuing education (CE) session will present on progressive strategies that health systems are evolving and deploying to maintain financial viability with or without 340B opportunity and through site of care management.
