Eric Besse is Vice President of Business Information Solutions at Besse Medical, an AmerisourceBergen company focused on the distribution of pharmaceuticals and related products to community primary care and specialty (outside oncology) physician practices, clinics and surgery centers throughout the United States. He is responsible for providing technology solutions to both internal and external business partners and customers. He oversees all internal information systems - ecommerce, CRM, data analysis and the customer service desk - and leads the development of physician practice technology solutions, including inventory management.

Mr. Besse started his career in the pharmaceutical distribution industry in 1998 by managing information systems for the formerly privately-held Besse Medical. He was appointed director of business information systems upon the merger of Amerisource and Bergen Brunswig in 2001 and assumed his present role in 2010. Prior to joining AmerisourceBergen Mr. Besse gained considerable technology support experience in systems integration, database analysis, office automation and a number of migration projects.

As a member of various groups and committees within AmerisourceBergen, Mr. Besse provides leadership on CRM, ecommerce and enterprise resource planning issues. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Information Systems from Xavier University.
