Suzuken Announces Decision to Use AmerisourceBergen's Cubixx System to Enhance Specialty Drug Distribution in Japan

Nagoya, JPN and Valley Forge, PA. – Suzuken and AmerisourceBergen today announced an agreement that provides Suzuken with access to AmerisourceBergen’s Cubixx® inventory solution including radio frequency identification (RFID) enabled refrigeration units and an integrated cloud-based inventory management portal.

AmerisourceBergen’s Cubixx solution streamlines logistics management for specialty drugs by providing the functionality needed to monitor variables impacting inventory integrity including temperature monitoring and product traceability, which can be made to comply with various laws and regulations pertaining to pharmaceuticals and RFID technology. As the exclusive recipient of Cubixx technology in Japan, the Suzuken Group will further enhance its own capabilities to create efficiencies in the distribution of specialty drugs in Japan, as well as provide added value to medical institutions, insurance pharmacies, community healthcare providers and patients.
