Novation recognizes AmerisourceBergen as 2014 Supplier Award Winner

Conshohocken, Pa. and Irving, Texas – AmerisourceBergen, a global healthcare solutions leader, was named the 2014 Mark McKenna Overall Supplier of the Year and the Acute Distributor of the Year by Novation, the leading healthcare services company for more than 100,000 members and affiliates of VHA Inc., UHC, Children's Hospital Association and Provista LLC. The awards were announced at Novation’s fifth annual Supplier Summit meeting in Las Vegas, which brought together more than 1,500 healthcare suppliers.

The Mark McKenna Overall Supplier of the Year honor is awarded to a supplier that embodies Mark McKenna’s commitment to the alliance members Novation serves and continues his legacy of putting hospitals and patients first. The Acute Distributor of the Year is awarded to a distributor that has demonstrated significant year-over-year growth and is fully engaged and invested in Novation’s day-to-day operations as well as the Alliance staff to ensure the success of their contracts.
