150 Community Oncology Providers & Patient Support Teams Explore the Future of Immuno-Oncology at ION Solutions’ I-O Conference
Orlando, Fla. - Today, ION Solutions, a part of AmerisourceBergen and the largest physician service organization and group purchasing organization (GPO) specializing in the support of community oncology, commenced its inaugural Immuno-Oncology (I-O) Conference. As part of ION and AmerisourceBergen’s commitment to providing critical resources that will ultimately enhance patient care, the conference brings together more than 150 community oncology physicians, nurses, pharmacists and practice administrators with leading manufacturers to share the latest research and clinical advancements in I-O.

Throughout the two-day conference, providers and patient support staff have the opportunity to attend sessions on the proliferation of I-O drugs and the new wave of treatments, the potential of I-O research, and the development and process of bringing these molecules to market. Oncologist, Medical Director of Informatics Dr. Lucio Gordan with Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute will serve as conference moderator. Dr. Gordan will share his insights around how new immunotherapies are changing the landscape when it comes to treating patients.
This conference is part of ION Solutions’ ongoing educational conference series. These sessions are opportunities for peer-to-peer learning and networking, and they are a designed to help strengthen the community of independent physicians dedicated to oncology.
