Kechia Campbell, Specialist – Customer Transition

Rank: E4 | Branch: Air Force/Army National Guard
I served time in both the Air Force and the Army National Guard. After working for a few companies, I was fortunate to eventually join the Oncology Supply team in 2009 as a Warehouse Packer. A little over a year later, I was promoted to Inventory Control.

Advice: Computer skills are a basic necessity in today’s workforce. Research companies in the area you plan to live in once you leave the military, then decide how you want to move forward in your career. Work hard, do what's right and always represent your company in a manner that will make others ask how they can become a part of the team. Dream big and love what you do. My service years taught me how to be a true team player. The military gave me structure. I work hard and I appreciate every opportunity given to me in order for me to succeed and advance.

Rank/Rate: CPT | Branch: U.S. Army
I served in the enlisted, NCO, and officer ranks in the U.S. Army in the Infantry and Field Artillery. I was fortunate to find AmerisourceBergen and have experienced similar professional growth and development as I did in the military.

Advice: With help from the G.I. Bill, earning two bachelor’s degrees and a MBA gave me the foundation to build a career.I would tell you that your military skills are transferable regardless of your military occupational specialty (MOS). You can leverage your dedication to mission accomplishment, your caring for the welfare of your fellow Servicemembers, and your ability to pull through the hard times to your advantage.
