Binita Patel, PharmD

Vice President of Pharmacy Services, Memorial Hermann Health System

In her current role at Memorial Hermann, Binita Patel leads pharmacy services across the continuum of care. She’s maintained an expertise in specialty pharmacy and PBM practice throughout her career. For more than a decade, she developed specialty pharmacies, clinical ambulatory practices, prior authorization and patient assistance programs, and drove strategic growth for ambulatory services.

Bryan Schuessler, PharmD

Director of Home Infusion and Specialty Pharmacy, Saint Luke’s Health System

In his current role, Bryan Schuessler oversees the financial, distributive, and clinical operations for home infusion and specialty pharmacy service lines. For over a decade, he has helped health system pharmacies design employee health plans, optimize 340b programs, and find ways to grow the business. He has also been a driving force behind Saint Luke’s Advanced Care Pharmacy, a specialty pharmacy, which received full accreditation in August 2020.

Danny Truelove, PharmD

Director of Pharmacy, University of Tennessee Medical Center

As Director of Pharmacy, Danny Truelove leads new ambulatory care pharmacy program development with a focus on value-based care. He’s also Program Director for the PGY2 ambulatory care pharmacy residency program and an Assistant Professor at the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy. Actively involved with the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP), he is Chair Elect for the Section of Ambulatory Care Practitioners and a nationally recognized thought leader on ambulatory and specialty pharmacies.

Vice President, Operations, Integrated Health Systems Outcomes Coalition

In her role at IHOC, Katie McMillen supports IHOC members in achieving their key strategic goals and the coalition’s mission to improve patient outcomes and access to specialty products. Before IHOC, as Director of Pharmacy at Froedert and the Medical College of Wisconsin, she developed and managed Froedert’s URAC-accredited specialty pharmacy program. She also led the strategic development and operational execution of three dedicated cancer centers, three community infusion sites, and inpatient oncology services across the system.
