Supporting our associates

Our success as a company depends on our associates’ ability to perform at their best. We take care of our associates by ensuring a safe, diverse workplace, encouraging personal wellness and by providing financial assistance to those in need through the Associate Assistance Fund.

Rooted in service

At AmerisourceBergen, we believe in improving the lives of the communities we serve. To live our mission, we provide our associates with volunteer time off and engagement opportunities throughout the year.

Whether it’s donating toys to children who have a terminal illness, packing student backpacks or shipping medical supplies to Rwanda, we are committed to improving access to quality healthcare and education around the world.

Making a difference in our communities

We are committed to improving the communities where we live and work by leveraging associate volunteering, product donations and corporate giving. In addition, through the AmerisourceBergen Foundation, we partner with non-profits that focus on access to health—both human and animal—to create healthier futures for communities around the world.

Corporate giving and donations

In addition to $1.7 million in financial donations, last year our companies provided $2.3 million in over-the-counter medical products so qualified medical teams could dispense it to underserved populations while reducing waste.

The AmerisourceBergen Foundation

Since its founding in 2014, the AmerisourceBergen Foundation has impacted over 1.8 million lives through partnerships with education-, community- and healthcare-focused organizations around the world. From Family Reach, an organization that provides financial assistance to cancer patients and their families, to Project HOME, a Philadelphia non-profit that empowers individuals to break the cycle of poverty and homelessness, our partners embody our mission to create healthier futures.
