“Pharmacy Based Immunization Delivery”
Tuesday, July 15
7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Two parts: Part one is self-study, 12 credits (1.2 CEU); Part two is an eight hour, eight credits (0.8 CEU) live seminar.

The first part (self-study) is designed to ensure all participants have a solid understanding of the role of pharmacists as vaccine advocates. The second part (live seminar) reinforces and expands on the self-study component and discusses immunization needs, legal/regulatory considerations, marketing, patient care strategies, billing and reimbursement, documentation and record keeping. Participants also receive hands-on injection technique training.

“Clinical Pharmacy Diabetes Management”
Tuesday, July 15
7:30 a.m. – 6:15 p.m.

Wednesday, July 16
7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

20 hours (2.0 CEU)

This two-day workshop is packed full of case studies and hands-on experience combined with lectures and practical application. It is based on best practice, evidence-based, scientifically driven, patient-centered diabetes care. This program will prepare you to work with diabetes patients in an expanded clinical role. It will provide you with information and tools to fill out the necessary forms to apply for ADA recognition for our diabetes management programs, enabling you to bill for your services, thus generating a new revenue stream.

“Community Aging, Assisted Living and Long Term Care”
Tuesday, July 15
8:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Wednesday, July 16
8:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

15.25 hours (1.5 CEUs)

This two-day certificate program is targeted for beginners or seasoned vets and focuses on providing senior-friendly community services that promote independent living, as well as how to efficiently and profitably provide medications to assisted living and long term care (LTC) residents.

Continuing Education Seminars
July 16-19

Continuing Education seminars include Retail and Alternate Care offerings with corresponding tracks. This makes it easy for you to design a custom class schedule to meet all your needs. Courses are offered throughout the show, making it convenient to schedule all the educational programs you want while leaving plenty of time for the Exposition.
